In Worship we explore our stories inside God’s own Story of wholeness and life…
We believe wherever we each are on our journeys, when we come together in worship, God meets us. In worship we come to encounter God and watch together for God’s presence in Scripture, our own lives, and the world around us. We are strengthened and nourished in Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to participate with God in loving and healing the world.
Worship involves our whole selves and all our senses – so our worship is expressed through song and silence, prayer and preaching, art and conversation, music and the participation of young and old. All our gifts, questions, doubts and joys, foibles and fears are welcomed in the presence of God.
“We do not gather ourselves in worship; God invites us in. We are brought by the Holy Spirit into a worship already taking place in the life of God. This is where we learn to be guests and hosts in God’s Kingdom.”- Elizabeth Newman,“Untamed Hospitality”
