This dream is becoming a reality as learn to intentionally practice Worship, Hospitality and Sabbath.
See the "About Us" Page for more information.
"Mission" involves using what we have been given, for others. Resources of the congregation include our building.
...See the Calendar for groups which have found a home in this building. The three floors of the building include: [lower level - not accessible] Nokomis Hall - a large (30X40?) gathering space with stage, which holds 12+ tables-for-eight. It has access to the Kitchen. There is also an equally large, high-ceilinged recreation area, a small classroom, and men's and women's bathrooms; [main level] Sanctuary, library|gathering|meeting room, nursery (children's bathroom), offices (including Field|Regina|Northrop Neigborhood Group office), men's and women's bathrooms (not accessible); [upper level - not accessible] carpeted chapel|classroom|activity room, choir room, project room, and children's Sunday School room (children's bathroom). For information regarding use of any of these spaces, please contact the office.

We are becoming an intergenerational community ...
in all aspects of our worship, education and ministry. Lake Nokomis is in a season of change, learning and growth. We value diversity and believe that we are all called and equipped to share in God's purposes. When those in different stages of life, with different gifts and needs worship, play, work and learn together, we experience the Body of Christ in rich and full ways. We are on an exciting journey, committed to becoming a congregation that integrates children and youth fully into the life of the church.
