News of the Congregation

Thanks to all who contributed to the AIDS Walkers!  LNPC collected just over $300, at church and online, for the MN AIDS Project.  Diane and Skyler, Sue and Ursa walked 10K on your behalf Sunday, May 16, and had a great time!

Anyone interested in Welcoming the World to Minneapolis ~  get in touch with Barb or Sue about volunteering when the 219th General Assembly of the PC(USA) comes to town July 3-10!  Lots of opportunities to be useful as our presbytery, with the Presbytery of Northern Waters and Presbytery of Minnesota Valleys host Presbyterians from around the country and eccumenical guests from around the world.  Good times guaranteed! LNPC is offering hospitality to the Hospitality Committee of the Committee on Local Arrangements (COLA) for General Assembly (GA) 2010.  Their first meeting was held here, and they liked it so much, they're coming back every month until GA meets in Mpls in July! 

Thanks! - to all who planned, dug, lay bricks, planted plants.. and created a welcoming patio in our front yard!  

Congratulations - to all the folks - especially PW -  who worked so hard to put on another successful Bazaar.  It's always a wonderful morning of sharing our gifts, meeting neighbors, and bringing together friends.
