Current status: Building is open to use by groups

Picture
(Emergency Brake: This plan is subject to change if CDC and MDH guidance changes).

As of March 10, mask requirement and room size limits are dropped.
  • It is expected that groups will follow current CDC guidelines.
  • HEPA filters should be used in each room.
  • Groups may set own perimeters regarding masks and group size.

What We Expect:

Our building is shared by many groups of different sizes that often overlap in the space.  Among us are young children and people who are immunocompromised.  We now house a community preschool on the bottom floor, whose teachers are vaccinated, but children are not yet eligible to be vaccinated.

While we have installed filters in various rooms, it is an old building with less than ideal ventilation.  We ask that you keep these things in mind as you gather, defaulting to an ethic of care for the other.

Your Participation in Hospitality:

Picture
One of our core values is hospitality. In a culture of increasing isolation and wariness, we seek to live guided by the awareness that we are all recipients of, and participants in, God’s love and kindness.  This mission of hospitality extends to use of our building: It is deeply important to us that our building be a shared space of welcome and mutual respect, where we are all hosts and guests of one another.  Groups using the building are not responsible for overseeing or checking on any other groups or individuals, but please extend warmth and welcome to one another.  By sharing our space, you also share in our mission of hospitality, so we request that your group join us in seeking to embody this spirit of hospitality.

TALK TO US!

Session will consider requests for building use in a case-by-case basis.
