Fundraising Campaign 2026 (& 2027)
A congregation is like a family household with a regular budget and maintenance or special projects that need addressing from time to time.
“HERE, HEAR!” Our 2026 project is upgrading our 40+ year old sound system, which will also make it compatible with in-person Bluetooth hearing aids, and provide a fuller interactive online experience for zoom participants.
"HEADS UP!” Our 2027 project is paying off our roof loan to free up monthly funds for our life and ministry together.
We are seeking to raise $35,000 this year and $35,000 next year to cover the total of $70,000 for both projects.

The Details
2026 GOAL:
“HERE, HEAR!”
Upgrading Sanctuary Sound System
LNPC uses a distinctive model of hybrid worship that treats online participants not as viewers, but as present members of the worshiping community. This model has enabled people to participate and be present with us from across the country, including California, Washington, Northern Minnesota, and while traveling or snow-birding, strengthening connection beyond geographic boundaries and helping worshipers feel welcome and seen.
However, with a 40+ year old sound system, while we have invested in new microphones and partial upgrades, audio quality remains inconsistent, particularly for music and congregational singing. Remote participants often struggle to hear clearly, and music quality has been a significant barrier to full participation.
The improvements will modernize our audio infrastructure to more fully support this hybrid ministry. The new system will allow direct audio feeds from the sanctuary sound system to remote participants, dramatically improving clarity of both spoken word and music. It will also enhance in-person sound quality, including better support for participants sitting in the sanctuary who use hearing aids and currently struggle with inconsistent amplification.
This upgrade continues our ongoing work to make our building more accessible to all people.
Estimated Cost - $22,000

COMING IN 2027:
“HEADS UP!”
Paying Off the Loan for Roof Repairs
LNPC is in the process of paying off a loan used to make needed repairs to the building roof. At present the loan amount remaining is $45,600 with a 5.5% adjustable interest, due for update in 2030. With the aim of eliminating interest payments and improving cash flow, our goal is to pay off the loan by the end of 2027.
Remaining Balance - $45,600

2026 -2027 TOTAL Fundraising goal: $70,000 with a stretch goal of $85,000.
To assist in donation planning and widen the impact of the congregation’s generosity on both projects, we are spreading the campaign over two years with the goal of achieving 50% of our needed funds by the end of 2026 and 50% by the end of 2027. This will allow us to complete the sound system repairs in 2026 and pay off the roof loan by the end of 2027.
You may note that we have set a fundraising goal above the amount needed to upgrade the sound system and pay off the loan. Any donation amount received above the amount needed will be placed in reserve to be used 1- on an as needed basis to help support members of the LNPC community when in need, 2- help support organizations serving our community, and 3- to have sufficient funds available for unanticipated building maintenance needs.
