Children’s Ministry Leader
8 hours/month
1st & 3rd Sundays, 8:45 am – 12:00 pm (plus prep time)

At LNPC we are all ministers, who help one another recognize and join God’s love at work in the world. We are seeking a children’s ministry leader who will guide our kids in ministering to each other and the congregation, seek God together in fun and creative ways, and grow in their faith and trust in Jesus. 

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing and teaching Sunday School 9 -10:15 am for K-4th grade class, Sept - May
  • Leading our children in being ministers (praying with and for each other, teaching in worship, writing and leading prayers in worship, etc).
  • Building relationships with families and supporting parents
  • Maintaining a welcoming, warm and inspiring environment of learning and care in nursery and children's classroom
  • Caring for babies and toddlers who need a break during the worship service, in the nursery from 10:15-11:45 am
This is position pays $15-18 per hour, based on training and experienced.
Youth Ministry Leader 
20 hours/month

Unique opportunity to lead a small church in ministry with and by youth.

We are looking for someone who will:
  • Guide our youth in exploring God’s activity in scripture, their own lives, and the world around them.
  • Strengthen relationships between youth and adults, helping to build community of mutual support where people of all ages minister to each other.
  • Pray with and for our youth, and help them deepen their own lives of prayer and connecting with God.
  • Empower youth to take on increasing leadership in worship, and other areas of the congregation’s life and ministry, through helping them discover and step into their gifts (eg, music, art, etc).
Responsibilities include:
  • Leading youth group (grades 5-8), and participating in worship, 1st& 3rdSundays, 9 am – noon.  
  • Leading outings for youth, and help youth lead events for congregation, approximately quarterly.
  • Building relationship with families, supporting parents and connecting with youth.
This is a paid position.
