Our Pattern
In order to live fully into our ministry of worship, hospitality and sabbath, we do things a little differently with our weekend worship times. You can always check our calendar for the latest info, but in general, here’s the pattern:
1st & 3rd Weekends
SUNDAYS – 10:00 AM
2nd & 4th Weekends
SATURDAYS – 5:00 PM
with Sabbath Sundays
5th Weekends (Waffle Worship)
SUNDAYS, 10 am - 12 pm.
Gatherings of Sharing & Community
How are these gatherings different?
On 1st & 3rd weekends
we worship on Sunday morning in a communal service
that usually involves hymns, a sermon, group prayer, and communion.
On 2nd & 4th weekends
we worship on Saturday evenings,
and the same text and message of the week is encountered in a more personal and contemplative way,
with interactive prayer stations, silence, ambient music, and space for individual reflection.
The services complement each other, and children are full participants in each service.
Sabbath Sundays
are for rest and play, being instead of doing, connecting with God and others,
and embracing the world with awareness and gratitude.
Whenever there is a 5th weekend,
Our 5th Weekend Waffle Worship help us connect in community and live in hospitality toward our wider community.
To find out more about why we do this, see About Us.
You can also find more in-depth discussion of our Sabbath practice, Children in worship and other topics in the articles and clips under Stories from LNPC.
